Hi,
My name is Stephen Poirier, from Nova Scotia, Canada and I am interested in asking you to do a project for me. I love you picture of Arya Stark here, and I am a big fan of ASOIAF. I can see you are quite talented and by looking at the rest of your gallery Iknow you have an interest in YA literature and fantasy. So, to my point. I have written my own novel, called The Magic Detection Agency, Book1: The Boy in the Mirror. It's about a young teenage girl in New York who discovers a secret society of magic users that are trying to return to a parallel world and they need her help. It's on Amazon and Smashwords for e-readers. The trouble is, I suck at art, and I just cobbled together a terrible cover. I would like you to do a cover for me. If you agree, you can email me at stevp@hotmail.com. I can't offer any money, but I will give you credit for the art work. And i plan on two more novels in the same series so there might be more work, paid work, in the future. You can find the book on Amazon and read the first two or three chapters for free. If you agree, I will send you the whole book, and then we can talk about what the cover should be. Maybe you don't have any experience at this, and this might seem too forward or weird of a stranger to ask you this, but I like your art, and think you would do a great job. Looking forward to hearing from you
Steve

thanks for pointint it out. so many artists who make asoiaf-fanart never mention that they use reference - even tho they all paint/draw the characters in the same poses, exactly the same as the official photos. -.-'

I skip through that bunch and try to find ppl who have made their own versions of the book characters or drawn the characters (the actors) from new angles.

I'm sorry I thought you're the author and didn't quite catch your point. thought it was irony. it's my poor english :D
yes, many of them use phototes and snapshots
it's okay to do this, but this must be mentioned

it was not the thing i was talking about
i think it is a copy of a snap... no, I'm almost sure it is a copy
because judging on your other works you don't know how to draw a realistic face and you don't have even the basic knowledge of the anatomy of human head
maybe you even put a snap in the layer below and painted in the upper one the same you did here [link]
and i hate cheating that's why sometimes it is hard to stay silent

I know about human anatomy more than you darling, and If in my other works you think I don't know how to draw a realistic face it's because I tried to do a cartoon efect, and I jump many steps, like to draw the skeleton to do that more quicklier because I don't have time ... this kind of works took me weeks, months, I have to do a lot to correct all the mistakes and do it very similar..... If you want to say to me I'm cheating, well I don't mind, but stop critizing my other jobs because the things I see here is that you started looking for references that I may used in my works to show that I'm not talented or I don't know how to draw?? or a thing that may be disturbes you, I don't know what you trying to do sincerely...
